Open the .SCAD file with OpenSCAD
Once loaded, render the cube by pressing f6
Rendering may take upwards of 1-2 hours. If you have a slow computer, I would recommend running this overnight.
The rendering progress bar will appear "Stuck" at 999/1000 for a very long time. Be patient, this portion of the rendering process takes the most time.
After rendering is finished, export and save the cube as a .STL file
Note: This design is best suited for SLA printing. Use FDM or SLS at your own risk*
Open the STL file in the slicer of your choice
The cube should print at its default size or larger. Shrinking the cube may result in print failure.
(For Resin Printing) Orient the cube at 45 degrees in X and Y, so that it is standing on a corner
Support the cube by manually adding supports running along the thicker outer borders, ensuring that the three edges facing the build plate are fully supported.
Print and post-process your cube
*This design has been validated to print on the following printers: Formlabs Form 4, Formlabs Fuse 1+
The QR code is best viewed in outdoors in direct sunlight, with the shadow cast on a smooth, light surface
The QR code can be difficult to align properly - If you have trouble, start by moving the cube until the shadow is square-shaped, then make small adjustments until a QR code appears in the shadow
Each pair of opposing faces will generate a unique QR code
